SAT Practice Essay Questions: 6 Things To Know About The Essay SectionsThe first step is to read the teacher's practice essay for the semester. In this exercise, students will be given two questions and asked to take a position on each one. A lot of homework has been done, but there are still a few questions that the students need to ask themselves.First, can they think of a way in which they will 'get by' without reading the course textbook? This is one of the most difficult questions to answer because of how different a textbook will be from another. Yet, the students are going to find it hard to judge whether or not their book is any better than another, especially if they have already read all the books in the English section.Secondly, what kind of books do they like best? It is important to be familiar with the types of books the instructor prefers and the kind of books that the students are going to need for the semester. Some types of books include Shakespeare, Chaucer, and ot her classic authors. Other types include short stories, stories about pets, and other popular works.Third, how familiar are the students with the instructors? Some instructors have been in the program for a long time and others are relatively new. A student needs to feel comfortable with the instructor and knows what they are expected to do.Fourth, what kind of research are the students doing in order to answer their SAT practice essay questions? It is good to know that the students are interested in conducting their own research. It is important to be prepared to answer the question if the student has not taken the time to do so. It is also important to know that this essay is going to be an opportunity for the students to do some research and have an idea of what to expect when it comes to getting the right amount of sleep, eating right, exercising, and other aspects of life.Fifth, how does the student plan to spend the SAT week? Although the test has not been released yet, some s tudents are going to be able to plan their week's much differently than others. The students who are writing an essay might use that time to either read more books, write more, or get more sleep than their classmates.Sixth, are there any standardized SAT student samples on the syllabus? A syllabus is only as good as the student samples on it. There should be a section that asks the students to consider the textbook or book that they will be using for their essays. Most students will be able to use several different kinds of books in the semester.By knowing these six aspects, students will have a much better idea of what SAT practice essay questions to expect and the types of answers that are appropriate for each question. Students should not expect to get a lot of practice for these sections because of the fact that they have already read the essay.
